Correction!
I AM doing both! I booked a ticket to AL this evening. I can't wait to cheer on Kurt and hang with the fam.
Gearing Up
Barrett and I are getting ready for what is sure to be a great weekend. It's SLW once again, and we can't wait!
*I'm not sure if this outfit is the correct era, but it caught my eye at the thrift shop.
*I almost scrapped SLW in favor of Nationals (wrestling) in Birmingham. I know I will be glad I didn't. But I am so, so sad I can't do both.

Relaxing
We've just been relaxing at home this week. I got out Barrett's booster seat, and he likes to join me at the table.
He's also been gnawing on everything in sight, and rolling, rolling, rolling. I have to laugh when I leave him on the floor and come back to see him in a completely different spot.
Our big man also learned to squeal, and he started when we were out to lunch the other day. Now he spends his awake time letting out some real pterodactyl yells. It's cute! Loud, but cute.

Home is where the heart is
and a little bit of my heart will always be here.
I love spending time at my parent's house, and I can be there more often now that I don't work outside the home. Jocelyn and I spent a lovely week there; eating healthy, spending time in the snow, watching Kurt wrestle, visiting friends and family, and soaking in the goodness that is Minnesota.
My mom made us this salad: grapefruit, oranges, olives, olive oil, salt, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. It sounds strange, but was delicious!
Lucky number 13 (grandchild)
Sweet baby Fiona Jane was born on February 7. Jocelyn and I just happened to be on our way to MN at that time, so we got to see her when she was quite new.
What a little (!) peanut.
My baby boy seems enormous after holding her :)
My little sweetie
I took these pictures for Valentine's Day cards for the grandparents. The pictures were taken, uploaded, put into cards, and being processed in about twenty minutes. Gotta love the internet!

Doot da doo
Good news: My counselor and I agreed I don't need her anymore. I met my goals (in three sessions), and if I ever feel like I might need a "booster", she said to give her a call.
I'm reading again, and finally putting my Christmas Kindle to use. It is awesome to be able to concentrate and enjoy a story (and to have another thing to do while I sit around and put off doing housework).
Thank you for all the comments. I really appreciate each and every one.
Not going to lie, I'm a bit bored without my job. However, I really, really enjoy playing with my own child instead of someone else's. And there are always ladies up for doing something if I chip them a text.
