Why??

Why is there such a disconnect between medical doctors and chiropractors? I had a pain on my right side, only at night, probably from how the baby was positioned. I asked the doctor and his medical student about it, and they agreed with me about the baby's position. I asked about going to the chiropractor, and neither one told me I should. They didn't say I shouldn't either, but I could see they did not think it would help anything.

I went to the chiropractor, and right away he found a spot on my rib, adjusted it, and I felt great!

How hard would it have been for the doctor to recommend the chiropractor?

Ah, pregnancy

Sometimes I do strange things.

-bought a whole twelve pack of Fresca (I never buy pop! I told Mark "I think this is the first twelve pack I've ever had for myself!)

-put a Rubbermaid in the shower, filled it up, and took a "bath" in it. It cracked, but I got my bath!

-eat sunflower seeds on every walk I go on.

We painted the nursery!

Well, Mark did. And it's not a real room, just our closet (we live in a one bedroom apartment). It was a yucky yellow-green color with water spots, and I happened to get a nicer green paint for free at Ace.

It looks like we're having a girl, but we don't actually know. These are the girl accessories, and I have different things if it's a boy (except the crib- he'll have to sleep in a pink one).

A month and a half or so and we'll hopefully have our little one here. It's coming so fast!

Medora

It's the cutest little cowboy tourist town just west of here. Mark and I went there for a day of shopping (didn't buy much!) and hiking (it's a bit harder now than it used to be!).
