I'm back!

Back to my apartment, family and friends, work, and SCHOOL. Wednesday is my first day of class. I'm excited!

Two friends and I went on a 10-state, 10-day vacation to the east coast. If I had to describe the trip in one word, I would say busy.

On a normal trip, you would fly to a city and spend a few days exploring it. We went to 4 large cities and saw as much of each in one day as we could.
We flew into Baltimore, then went to Philadelphia, NYC, a beach in Rhode Island, Martha's Vineyard, Boston, Acadia National Park, then some smaller harbor towns in Maine, and back to Baltimore.

My favorite city was Boston. So much to see there!

We went to a Phillies game in Philadelphia, and a Red Sox game in Boston. It was my first experience with open-air professional baseball stadiums, and now I love them. It's going to be fun to see how Target Field turns out.

The trip gave me a little taste of the east coast, and now I want to go back and see more of it. It is nice to be home though. My entire family will be around next weekend, so I have that to look forward to.

Exploring our city

I love doing new things in our area. Why not save money and have fun doing it?!! Some girls and I enjoyed delicious ice cream from the Grand Ole Creamery, then walked around down by the stone arch bridge. It was my first time for both.

Viv: full of life

Vivian means "full of life". And she is. Always moving, so alert, and so dang smiley. She makes every day that I see her a better day.
Of course, when we get the camera out, she won't smile at all. But she does this eyebrow thing that is so cute!
My mom saw this idea somewhere as a grad picture, but we thought it would work out well for Viv. Baby shoes are so little and cute.

And she's off to wedded bliss...

One of my former roommates got married last weekend. It's funny because we always thought she would be the last one married, but then Jimbo came along and swept her off her feet :)
The wedding was beautiful; purpley-blue and princess-y. Totally Annie.

I did miss out on kyds camping for the wedding, but it was worth it. Annie and I lived together for three fun, random years. I wish her all the best! PB Penthouse reunites. ("loads of sticking-to-the-roof-of-your-mouth fun")
