Tidbits

- I don't think I can make SLW. This makes me very sad.

- I won a drawing on Julie Laakso's blog!

- Pokes (aka Eric) is here. He came last Friday and is staying until next Tuesday! I enjoy having him around because we hike and laugh a lot. He makes me appreciate the warm weather even more than I had been.

- Scottsdale is very, very busy around this time of year. Our hotel is full almost every night, which makes for a hectic work day.

out of touch

Due to my limited internet access, I feel a bit out of touch with the online world...

My 24th birthday came and went without much ado. The three of us girls went out for a delicious breakfast, and then I worked the rest of the day. These things made me smile: how many people wrote on my wall on facebook, the texts and phone calls I got, and the mail I received.

I don't feel any older, and I am likely to slip and say I am 23 for the next few months.

I think this year will hold some changes for me.

My After-Christmas Entertainment

included lots of wintery things like snowshoeing, shoveling, sledding (one run down the hill and then it was too cold for my AZ blood), and boot hockey. Got to play boot-boot twice!!

I spent my days after Christmas hanging out with the females in my family. I saw lots of Mom, Joce, Vivian, Claire, and a little of Chrissy and Sierra. I headed to Michigan on Thursday morning, and got to see Mark for 42 hours, instead of the 4 and a half days we had planned. As wonderful as it was in the UP, reality hit shortly after our 32 hour drive back down here started. No more bf or family for a while :( Just work, and girls, and 60 degree temps.
