Knitting and the Twins

go together like peanut butter and bananas. I love the combo, even if it does make me feel like an old lady.

Hungarian Falls

I had never been before, and Mark only once. Saturday in the yoop was so nice, we just had to get out and enjoy it, so we headed out there.

Spring just might be my favorite season! I forget how much I love the melting snow, everything turning green, running rivers, and even the mud. Luckily, I was wearing a sweet pair of boots borrowed from Mark's family home.

Mark being a daredevil...

Both of us by the upper falls. We saw four different falls; I'm not sure how many there actually are.

And once again :)

I was trying to catch some dripping water on my tongue, but like Mark said, it just looks like I'm making a funny face.

The forest is such a contrast from the desert I've been in for the last half year.

If you have some free time, explore MI; it's so beautiful!

Once again a country girl

So do I change my title? It looks like I'll be living here at my parents indefinitely. I like it for the most part, but I do feel a bit drifty (is that a word?). No job, no car insurance yet, so no car... My mom has been very generous about sharing her car, so I can get around. I did stop in and ask at our local flower shop, but they're not hiring right now. Guess I'll check the next few towns over. Until I find a job, I might as well head to MI to see Mark again :)

Home Sweet Home

I'm back! And I've been busy since the minute I tearily hugged my sisters at the airport. I've been spending some sweet time with these girlies, and playing games and making cootie catchers with these ones.

I've also been snuggling with the two little guys in this picture,

but most of my weekend was spent with him.

We celebrated our anniversary with a dress-up date in the cites; dinner at Benihana and a Mummies movie at the Omnitheater. It was a wonderful evening!

Like my facebook status says, "if you want to know how awesome home is, leave for 6.5 months and return". I am absolutely loving it. My family, my boyfriend, kyds, church... I think I've had a permanent smile on my face for four days. If only I could always appreciate it this much.
