Shed hunt

 Saturday was beautiful, so off we went to the National Grassland for a shed hunt and a gun shoot.

I got to try out Mark's new handgun- a P238 .380 auto. It is very small, and packs a big punch. I didn't care for it much, partly because the hammer gave me a scrape on my thumb.

Next, we hiked up into the Badlands to look for sheds (deer antlers that have been shed).

It was so awesomely gorgeous climbing around the hills and through the bush.

My 'muck' boots were put to good use.

We didn't find any sheds, but definitely enjoyed ourselves. It is so nice to get out of the city on the weekends.
